Thanks already for everyone that will help me. I used all three mentioned commands: bcdedit /deletevalue, but after it did not work and I also did not find any help that I thought is correct and mentions my exact problem, I changed the bios function back to rst, so I can use windows again. Note: Not all windows indicated in this procedure display during. However, after I followed the steps mentioned I arrived at the bcdedit repair command. iso image contains all Linux variations for a release. Since my operating system is windows I thought its fine like that. Theres not exactly windows being mentioned when I checked the volumes, but only "OS". The mentioned website tells me to hit diskpart into the command box and tells me that windows should be correctly assigned to letter c.
Linux os iso ahci driver#
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, Because the AHCI driver is loaded before the HPE. So then I followed the sites help until I was at the command box. When installing VMware, download an HPE Custom ISO before the installation. As the helping website has told me, windows might tell me there will be a problem and it needed a restart. So via the bios function, I changed from RST to AHCI. There was a QR code too that I scanned and it directed me to this site: I started the installation process and during the process, Linux told me I have to turn off RST. Everything fine, my laptop started and I saw the Linux Mint display on my desktop. So, I put the ISO file of Linux Mint on my USB-Stick, I changed the order of the bios that it should start with the USB first. Not sure if the info is needed but I do have a ASUS Zenbook, Intel core i7. I also searched on youtube, which helped me before verifying my iso etc, but in this case I cannot find my exact problem. Sorry first of all, I am sure that someone else had this certain problem too, but I could not find a thread.
